It’s been a big week for sneakers this week. Between all the Easter releases yesterday and everything that’s coming out this weekend. there’s a lot to chose from. Thinking of copping a pair, or maybe two? So am I. Here’s my top 5 sneaker releases for this weekend.
5. Highs and Lows x Reebok Classic Leather “Autumn Leaves”
Reebok and Australian sneaker retailer Highs and Lows came together to design a dope shoe inspired by (you guessed it) leaves in autumn. Although autumn is a distant memory here in the states, this neutral brown, orange, black, and white sneaker is a winner in any season.
4. Air Jordan V “Metallic Silver”
Although I’m not (and never really have been) a fan of mostly white sneakers, the “Metallic” Jordan V’s are a winner in my book. This clean, simple colorway will be great for summer wear, and it’s also the first “remastered” V that we’ve seen.
3. size? x Adidas Originals Select Collection Tubular
Like I mentioned in the last paragraph I’m not a big fan of all-white shoes. However, I’m a huge fan of all black shoes, and these all-black Tubulars that size? and Adidas Originals came together for are an absolute home run. The Tubular is a really great sneaker, and a triple-black colorway and premium materials really seal the deal.
2. Puma Blaze Of Glory “Primary Pack”
Simplicity is often key when it comes to sneakers, and the “Primary Pack” from Puma takes full advantage of the classic Blaze Of Glory silhouette, lacing it with a simple and dope colorway.
1. Jordan I Mid “Hare”
You know that if a Jordan I is releasing, it’s gotta be #1 on my list. Even though I’m not a huge fan of kids (I prefer the hi’s as do most people), the Hare I’s are a must-cop. One of the best I mids ever? I’d say so.
That’ll do it for the top 5 sneaker releases this weekend. Agree? Disagree? Be sure to let me know in the comments or on Twitter!
