The First Official Images Of The Black/Red V2’s Are Upon Us

We’ve enjoyed a nice little break through January, but Yeezy madness will be striking us again in a little under two weeks.

The next Yeezy 350 Boost V2 drops on the 11th of February, and the first official images just hit the Internet yesterday. We’ve all already seen the shoe at this point, but getting some more in depth and detailed shots is never a bad thing. We’re a firm believer that you can’t pass a judgement on a shoe until you’ve seen it from every angle, and now with these images, our judgement has been passed. read more

Don C, Round Three.

If you’re in Kanye West’s inner circle, you’re winning on some front. Virgil Abloh has got Off-White. IBN Jasper went from cutting Ye’s hair to collabing with major brands and growing a large social media influence. And Don C, one of Ye’s oldest friends and the creator of Just Don, a luxury hat and accessory brand is about to release his third collaborative Jordan II.

Don C’s footwear collaborations focus on quality and luxury, with a soft quilted leather upper, premium detailing and packaging, and a high-fashion inspired look, which is only right seeing as the model he focuses on was originally made in Italy, the home of the finest leather goods in the world. read more

Are There Too Many Yeezy Boost V2’s?

The Yeezy 350 Boost v2. One of the most influential sneakers of 2016. A favorite of hypebeasts, Kanye stans, and adidas fans the world over. A shoe that’s clean, comfy, and collectable. Yeah, it’s gassed.

But they’re not without their faults, and today we’re wondering: are there too many V2’s?

We know, we know. Hold your indignation. Don’t get your Supreme boxer briefs in a bunch. We know Kanye’s the current god of this sneaker game and he can do no wrong in your opinion. Trust us, we understand where you’re coming from … but hear us out for a second. read more

Ultra Boost Cleats>Yeezy Cleats

Nobody’s doing footwear-to-cleat crossovers quite as well as adidas right now.

When the Yeezy cleats released back in December, the Internet went nuts. Blogs from the sneaker and sports world (including us) fell all over themselves reporting about the cleats, the subsequent fines players like DeAndre Hopkins received for wearing them, and their release to the public. The Yeezy cleat was a somewhat historic moment, and one of the more interesting occurrences in sneakers during 2016.

But the new Ultra Boost cleats are their superior, both in looks and likely in performance. read more

Stadium Goods Is Doing Some … Well, Good With Their Shoe Drive

When you’re discussing legendary East Coast sneaker resell shops, a name that’s gotta be at the top of your list is Stadium Goods. They’ve got some of the rarest sneakers and apparel you’ll ever lay your eyes on, and even though some would say their prices are a touch on the high side, they’ve established quite a name for themselves over their years in business … and now they’re using that name and reputation to help give back.

They’re hosting a shoe drive and encouraging their customers to “show love the Stadium Goods way” by donating their new and lightly worn shoes so they can deliver them to families in need. As sneakerheads, we all know that we’ll have pairs sitting in our closet that we really don’t need and won’t wear … and a drive like this gives us the opportunity to give back. read more

NEW MUSIC ALERT: TVKERS Bring The Heat On “Ghost & Gordan”

Here at KicksOneTwo, we always rock with dope new Minneapolis music, and SPVCE diffusion group TVKERS, composed of SPVCE members GoodKarmaNiles and RP Hooks have released one of our favorite songs of 2017 thus far, “Ghost & Gordan”, produced by Savage Randy, RP Hooks’s alter producer ego.

The song is brooding, sinister, and somewhat menacing. The “don’t make me shoot, I’m just here for the loot” and “open the safe and we cool” refrains in the chorus let you know what time it is, and bridge the vicious verses from GoodKarmaNiles and RP Hooks perfectly. The spaced-out beat from Savage Randy is a welcome change from all the bass-heavy Soundcloud rap that seems to be the flavor of the month nowadays too. An official video for the song shot by SPVCE’s own Mixie will be dropping soon, and a snippet was recently premiered on Twitter. read more

Flyknit & Primeknit Do Not Always A Winner Make

Flyknit and Primeknit. Adidas and Nike’s most technologically advanced knit materials. One’s been around for a little while (Flyknit), and one was introduced a touch over two years ago (Primeknit). Both offer lightweight comfort and support with a healthy dose of athletic style thrown in, and both have a rabid following that occasionally overlaps.

We love Flyknit and Primeknit, and are glad to have shoes made with both materials in our collections. However, we’ve got a PSA of sorts for you today: Flyknit and Primeknit aren’t a winner on every shoe. read more

RSVP Gallery & ASSC: An Interesting Collaboration

RSVP Gallery and Anti Social Social Club: two entities with great success and vastly different aesthetics. RSVP Gallery is one of the best-known retailers in the fashion world, stocking everything from Off-White to Bape to Stone Island. Anti Social Social Club is a brand greatly loved by the Internet, and known for their clever graphics and themes of social awkwardness and paranoia.

They’re not two brands you’d think would come together for a collab, but they have, and it’s interesting to say the least. Inspired by the Mercedes G-Wagon, they dropped an intro video last week, which you can check out below. read more
