Space Jams: Will They Still Be A Hit In 2016?

jordan-11-space-jam-december-2016

Ask any Jordan head what their favorite XI is, and there’s a good chance that they’ll tell you it’s the Space Jam. They’re the rare shoe that manages to be clean and simple while displaying an effortless flashy style (probably because of the patent leather), and they hold a special place in many a sneakerhead’s heart.

However, there’s been some griping and grumbling from sneakerheads this year over the 2016 iteration of the Space Jams. They’re not true to the originals. They don’t look right. The price is too high. So you’ve got to ask yourself: will the Space Jams still be a hit in 2016? read more

Anti Social Social Club’s Production Secret

anti-social-social-club-popular-girls-2

Around a month ago, you were excited. You were on the Anti Social Social Club webpage refreshing over and over again, waiting for the drop. You put the pieces you wanted in your cart, winced at the exorbitant shipping fee, and copped anyway because you needed your jawns.

Maybe you were one of the lucky few that got their order right away. But most likely, you’re still sitting around at home wondering when your items are going to arrive. “What the hell’s going on?” you’re probably thinking. “Where are my Anti Social Social Club jawns?” Well, we think we may have figured out exactly what’s going on. read more

Noah: A Brand That Truly Cares

brendon-babenzien-landscape-2015

Here at KicksOneTwo, one of our favorite brands on the market is Noah. Headed up by former creative director of Supreme Brendon Babenzien, Noah provides an elevated streetwear experience, a product that’s cool enough to rock if you’re young, but stately enough to rock as you get older.

But we love Noah for more than just the product. Most brands are all about the image and the sales, but Babenzien won’t allow Noah to become that. He recently penned an extensive piece in which he explained why his jackets cost what they do, and implored his customers to not shop mindlessly or buy into fast fashion, as it’s bad for the planet and human rights. read more

The Bape x Adidas Collab May Be Even More Limited Than You Think

bape-x-adidas-originals-nmd-closer-look-2

Adidas. The NMD. Bape. Yeah, that’s a whole lot of hype. The most hyped shoe brand, the most hyped model, and arguably the most hyped brand of the whole year. A trio enough to make any hypebeast get a thin film of sweat above their upper lip. Yeah, everyone wants them, and the matching jacket too.

They’re going to be a hard cop … and recent news indicates they might be even harder to cop than you originally thought, no matter how fast your bot may be, how slick your copy/paste game is, or how much good karma you have on your side on release day. read more

adidas-yeezy-boost-350-v2-releasing-tomorrow-02

Thrice as nice. You already know there’s 3 Yeezy 350 Boost V2’s releasing already. Maybe you won a raffle, maybe you’ve already copped your auto checkout slot (hopefully the extra $200 you paid didn’t set you back too much), maybe you’re just going to take your chances. Whatever you may be doing, your day tomorrow will likely be centered around the 350’s.

But here’s the real question: which pair is the best? All three are clean with the black base. All three are inherently wearable, and should slide easily into your winter sneaker rotation (no need to whine about being cold, you can always wear thicker socks). All three are fire. read more

Kanye West: Tortured Genius

cx1v6enxuaqc2hc-jpg-large

I love Kanye West.

I’ve grown up listening to his music. College Dropout changed my life. It helped me realize that not all hip-hop has to be hard-hitting and in-your-face (I was mainly listening to Young Jeezy and 50 Cent at the time). “Hey Mama” still makes me tear up every time I hear it, even though over a decade has passed since it was released. I had a chance to see the Saint Pablo tour live back in October, and it was one of the most incredible concerts I’ve ever been to. Both Kanye’s performance and the visual spectacle were on point. And obviously … I love Yeezy Boosts. read more
