Noah: A Brand That Truly Cares

Here at KicksOneTwo, one of our favorite brands on the market is Noah. Headed up by former creative director of Supreme Brendon Babenzien, Noah provides an elevated streetwear experience, a product that’s cool enough to rock if you’re young, but stately enough to rock as you get older.

But we love Noah for more than just the product. Most brands are all about the image and the sales, but Babenzien won’t allow Noah to become that. He recently penned an extensive piece in which he explained why his jackets cost what they do, and implored his customers to not shop mindlessly or buy into fast fashion, as it’s bad for the planet and human rights.

This is not something your standard, run-of-the mill brand would do. Babenzien really, truly cares about his impact on the planet and the cost of his garments, and is willing to explain his process in full detail, when most others would keep their cards very close to their chest.

And that’s not all: Noah’s physical retail location was closed on Black Friday along with their webstore. They encouraged their customers to shop at Patagonia, who had announced they’d be donating  100% of their profits from Black Friday to environmental groups. Can you think of another brand that would outwardly shun such a capitalistic day? Yeah, us either.

So do yourself a favor, and hop over to Noah’s webstore. Their products are great, and their message is even better. What’s not to love?

What do you think of Noah as a brand? Do you own any of their pieces? If so, what’s your favorite? Hit us up and let us know in the comments or on Twitter, check our Facebook page for daily updates, and, as always, be sure to follow us on Instagram for all the fire sneaker pictures you can handle.
