It’s that time of year again. The change of seasons is in full effect. Leaves are changing colors, the temperature is dropping, and you can break out your full wardrobe.
With this change of weather comes the need to change up your footwear. Sure, you can wear heat all winter long if you’re so inclined, but do you really want to risk trashing all your shoes with all that salt, snow and water all over the place? I didn’t think so. Thankfully we here at KicksOneTwo are glad to help, and we’ve got a list of the best fall/winter kicks of the season on deck. Don’t say we never did anything for you.
Timberland 6 Inch ClassicÂ
We’re starting off with the basics. This should be obvious. If you don’t have a pair of 6 inch wheat Timbs on deck for the fall/winter, you need to glo up immediately. There’s no more classic boot on the market, and you truly can never go wrong throwing these on with anything.
Red Wing Classic Moc
Want to get on your grown man shit? The Red Wing Classic Moc is a great choice. A pair of these will last you the rest of your life, as you can re-sole them over and over and over, and they look even better broken in. Plus, they’re made right here in Minnesota. What’s not to love?
Palladium Baggy Roll Down Boot
Looking for a boot that’s not quite as heavy and bulky? The Palladium Baggy Roll Down is a perfect choice. A lightweight and durable canvas upper with a top that you can either unfold for a high cut or roll down and snap for a 3/4 cut makes for an incredibly versatile pair of boots.
Adidas Tubular Moc
You didn’t think we were only going to do boots, did you? C’mon, son. This is a sneaker website, and we couldn’t go without blessing you with a few dope pairs of kicks too. The Adidas Tubular Moc is a crazy shoe. You get all the high-fashion inspired styling of the Tubular, with a moccasin-inspired tan and brown upper. Very rare. Perfect for fall. Bang bang.
Nike Air Mowabb
Although the Mowabb might prove a touch tricky to find, it’s still a perfect hybrid sneakerboot for the fall. The classic trail runner is just substantial enough to hold up to inclement weather while still remaining comfortable and stylish. The OG heads went nuts over the re-release of these, and for a good reason. Channel the 90’s this fall, and rock a pair of these.
Nike Air Max 95
A running sneaker? On an article about the best sneakers for fall/winter? You know it. The classic, bulky Air Max 95 is a perfect shoe for the fall and winter, especially the triple black colorway (I might be a little biased because I’m wearing a pair as I type this, but fuck it). Spray a little waterproofer on these, and you’ll be good to go. Stylish yet muted, and perfect for colder weather.
So there you have it. The best shoes (and boots) for fall and winter. Have something you like to rock in the colder months? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter!
