Here at KicksOneTwo, YouTube is our Netflix. We love any quality original series about street culture you can find on their vast expanse of content, from Detroit Rubber to SVDDNXLY, and we always like to recommend our favorites to everyone we know.
Well, we’ve got a new favorite. “The Show” by Round 2 is all we’ve been watching these past few weeks, and we’re borderline-obsessed with it.
Here’s the quick backstory. Round 2 is a great vintage/consignment shop based in Richmond, VA. They’ve also got a location in LA, and they specialize in rare vintage gear from brands like Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger, while also offering practically every shoe you can think of, from Nike to Saucony. They buy and sell shoes and gear at a blistering pace, so there’s always something new and fresh to be found on their shelves. Even the internet gawd Ian Connor is a fan

“The Show” has been putting out new episodes for around a year now, and the 15-30 min clips show a day in the life of the staff and what goes on at the store during business hours. The rate at which they move through inventory and the rare pieces they have in stock is borderline amazing, and anyone who’s ever worked retail can laugh at some of the ridiculous customers that step through the doors of the store.
After watching a few episodes, you’ll gain a great appreciation for Round 2 and what they do for the culture. The people who work there really know and love their vintage and sneakers, and you’ll find yourself feeling like you’re in the store.
So, once again, we highly recommend you check “The Show” out. We don’t recommend something lightly, and if you’re into sneakers (which we’d assume you are, you’re on a site called KicksOneTwo after all), vintage, and killing some time in an enjoyable fashion, “The Show” is..well…the perfect show for you.
