If you’re in Kanye West’s inner circle, you’re winning on some front. Virgil Abloh has got Off-White. IBN Jasper went from cutting Ye’s hair to collabing with major brands and growing a large social media influence. And Don C, one of Ye’s oldest friends and the creator of Just Don, a luxury hat and accessory brand is about to release his third collaborative Jordan II.
Don C’s footwear collaborations focus on quality and luxury, with a soft quilted leather upper, premium detailing and packaging, and a high-fashion inspired look, which is only right seeing as the model he focuses on was originally made in Italy, the home of the finest leather goods in the world.
His first two releases saw the Jordan II re-purposed first in a blue color way and then in a light tan (our personal favorite), while the third takes it a little farther to the feminine side with a soft clamshell pink. There’s no official release date just yet, but expect these to hit shelves in limited numbers and with a high price point this spring/summer.
We can’t help but wonder what the rollout for these will be like. Both preceding models came packaged with a hat, something Don C has always been known for, so we’re assuming we’ll be seeing headwear of some sort releasing with these beauties. Whatever it may be, we just hope it’s perfect for the summertime. In the meantime, stay tuned right here to KicksOneTwo for news and info on the next Just Don release.
