Tonal Air Max 1’s: Definitely A Go

We’d assume that you missed out on the recent release of the OG Air Max 1’s. It’s cool. We did too. We’re not really even that mad … they’re a very classic shoe, and it’s cool to see that the demand for them is still high.

We’d also assume that you probably missed out on the Air Max 90 Hyperfuse USA pack back in 2013. That’s also OK. We missed those too. We snoozed on them for a while (just like most sneakerheads), and then Kanye wore them and they were gone before we could even turn our heads. Hype happens sometimes, and there’s nothing that you can do about it.

However, if you took one or both of those L’s, there’s a new shoe for you: the tonal Air Max 1, set to be available in the red and blue color ways pictured above. They’re bright and colorful, yet clean and simple at the same time, and feature a dope striped detail on the tongue, which pays homage to the original Air Max box from 1987.

They dropped today, and if the frenzy surrounding this year’s Air Max Day (people just may be starting to get tired of Boost) is any indicator, these will probably sell out relatively fast. Be sure you’re somewhat quick so you don’t take a third Air Max L … one or two is acceptable but three is pushing it, and you already know you need a crispy pair of Air Max for this summer.
