Sneakerheads and sneaker news sources are always falling over themselves trying to be the first to break news. When there’s a new release, new colorway, or new info of literally any sort, they’re always in a competition to see who can break the news first … and sometimes that’ll lead to incorrect information. We’re hoping the picture at the top of this article is incorrect information.
You see, it was reported earlier this week that this might just be the Yeezy Boost 350 V3. For obvious reasons, we hope it’s not. Just take a look at it: it looks like a poor man’s version of the V2 with the weird mesh pattern on the side and the giant heel tab loops on the back.
We’re hoping this is a classic case of fake news, and is a bi-product of a troll releasing these images, or a site rushing to be the first to report on a new Yeezy, because we know that all these things absolutely suck. The only reason we think that these monstrosities might not be real is that the midsole and outsole appear to be nearly identical to the V2’s, and we can’t help but think that Kayne probably wouldn’t be cool with his third shoe looking so similar to his second one.
Only time will tell, but the sooner we find out what’s really going on, the better … because these just flat-out aren’t up to snuff for a Yeezy release.
