What’s up everyone??
We’re switching up the news pieces a bit from here on out. They’ll be consisting of two parts, what I’ve been up to and what Bobby has been up to as well. We’ve both got a lot popping, so there will be even more dope shit to check out than before! Without any further ado, let’s bring you up to speed on what we’ve been doing lately.
There’s been a whole bunch of new and exciting things going on since the last time I checked in with everyone! The main focus over here at KicksOneTwo these last few weeks has been social media. We’re ramping up our presence on social networks, with everything from Twitter to Instagram to our brand new Facebook page (which managed to crack 100 likes the first day it was up due to your support!) popping off. We want to make sure you have more ways to stay in touch with us than ever before.
I’m also getting ready for TCSAX 6 on September 19th, and you should be too. Outdoors? Food trucks? Free kicks? Target Center was great, but this is outdoors and in our neighborhood….and it’s looking like it’s going to be the best event yet.
I’m still writing for Karmaloop as well. Since I haven’t checked in in over a month (please forgive me…I’ve been working hard so i can glo up), here’s a list of everything (excluding news pieces, because who still wants to read about the Drake and Meek Mill beef?) I’ve wrote over there in the past month, from newest to oldest. I touched on everything from transitional pieces for fall to how to channel your inner A$AP Rocky, and some of the pieces in this list are among my favorites I’ve ever done for KL.

What’s up everyone? As for what I’ve been doing lately, let’s just say it’s been a lot! I take pride in continually keeping myself busy and improving myself in every aspect of my life. I’ve joked around with Ross by saying I didn’t know what I got myself into when I asked to join KicksOneTwo, but every second of work I’ve put in to it has been more than worth it.
School has just started up and I’m extremely excited due to classes that will help me bring even better content your way. I have a writing class that will improve my writing skills, (as if they needed improving fam lmfao), and a photography class that will help me bring better pictures to the KicksOneTwo Instagram. Hopefully you start noticing some changes soon!
In other news, I recently took a blog writer position over at Studiiyo23. I’m extremely excited to be contributing to the website and I’d love it if you guys could check out my work! I’m going to be focusing on sneakers and fashion while there are other great writers focusing on music, sports, and everything in between. I have two articles posted on the site, (which I linked below), and much more on the way.
