It’s Safe To Say The “Heiress” XI’s Are A Hit

Sometimes it’s a blessing to be able to fit grade school sizes.

The shoes are cheaper. They generally don’t sell out as fast. And occasionally, there’s some GS fire that big-footers wish they could cop. That’s the case with the recently released Jordan XI “Heiress”.

The rich burgundy colorway first debuted on a Jordan I earlier this year, and although they made some noise, they weren’t a ground-shaking release by any stretch of the imagination. The XI’s though … yeah, they got the sneaker world buzzing, as they’ve been the talk of the town the last few days.

Any lady you know who’s into kicks probably copped a pair. Can you blame them? This is the best girl’s GS release in quite a while. Any pairs that weren’t copped to rock got snapped up by resellers and are now being whipped online for somewhat outrageous amounts. The XI’s are always a good bet for resell value, and these might wind up among the best of the year in that category.

Hell, even a lot of dudes copped some of the larger GS sizes. Who wouldn’t want to get their luxe on in a crispy pair of XI’s? Sure, it’s been a pretty up-and-down year for Jordan Brand. They’re released a lot of classics, but also a lot of bricks, and lost some pretty serious cool points to Adidas. Maybe if they keep putting out releases of this quality, they’ll be able to gain some of those lost cool points back.
