Pardon us for the terrible Aubrey Graham reference … but we’re gassed on all the Jordan VI’s that are releasing in 2017. It seems that Jordan Brand picks a shoe to focus on every year, and as the VI is one of our favorite models, we couldn’t be more stoked that it’s their pick for 2017.
The releases will be coming in fast and furious starting in January, and both men’s and grade school sizes will receive an abundance of new heat. New colorways of Jordans have been sub-par recently, so it’s good to see Jordan Brand getting back on track with the schemes and designs.
From the “All-Stars” (pictured above) releasing in February to the “Still Blues” (pictured at the top of the article), there’s literally something for everyone, and it’s great to see a classic model getting all the recognition deserved.
Now there’s one more thing we know you’re wondering: will we be getting blessed with any OG colorways? We wouldn’t bank on it, as several OG VI’s have released in the last few years, but new colorways like the “Alternates” releasing in March and the “Black Cats”, which are actually releasing at the end of December will provide a fresh, modern take on a classic shoe. What’s not to love about that?
So clear some room in your closet, especially if you’ve already got a Jordan VI collection going. It’s going to be a big (and probably expensive) year for you in 2017!
