The All-Black Jordan I Is Going To Be Crazy

We’re geeking out over here at KicksOneTwo. Yes, it’s about Jordan I’s. Can you blame us? Just look at the beautiful shoes in the image above. The clean, smooth all-black colorway. The buttery looking leather. These are reminiscent of the 2001 Japan-exclusive Jordan I’s that have gained legendary status among sneaker collectors all over the globe, with the only real difference being the red “Nike Air” hit on the tongue.

We stated in yesterday’s article that I’s have either been blowing off the shelves or sitting around recently … and we’re of the opinion that these jawns will blow off the shelves before you can say “perfect fall and winter shoes”.

They’re part of what Jordan is calling their “Premium Essentials” pack, and will apparently be hitting shelves on June 20th, with a retail price of $160.

These are the kind of releases we need from Jordan Brand. They’re clean. They’re wearable. They’ll look great beat up (partially because you won’t really be able to tell if they’re beat up or not at all). They pay homage to a classic in a perfect way, and can find a spot in any sneakerhead’s rotation.

So come on, June 20th. Get here already so we can cop these beauties. We don’t even care if we’ve gotta stash them away until October … we’re willing to wait to rock a pair of shoes this dope.

What do you think of these blacked-out Jordan I’s? Would you save them until the fall, or throw them right in your summer sneaker rotation, light summer colors and tones be damned?  Hit us up and let us know in the comments or on Twitter, check our Facebook page for daily updates, and, as always, be sure to follow us on Instagram for all the fire sneaker pictures you can handle.
