Yesterday was a big day.
I got my first article published on a site that’s known the world over. I’m now a contributor to the Karmaloop blog, KLX. I’ll be bringing fresh content to their blog 2-3 times a week. My first post was on one of my idols, none other than Skateboard P himself, Pharrell Williams. If you’re so inclined, you can read the piece here.
I’m still in a state of disbelief that this actually happened. When I started KicksOneTwo about a year ago, my goal was to reach as many people as I could. I’ve always said that if one person enjoyed one article that I wrote, it made the whole thing worthwhile. Now, with the help of a major site like Karmaloop, I have the chance to reach thousands of people all over the world. My main goal is to produce as much quality content as possible, both here, and for Karmaloop.
And if you’re wondering, of course KicksOneTwo isn’t going anywhere. You can still come here at 8AM Central Standard Time every day for some fresh, Twin Cities focused content, be it a sneaker picture, a think piece, or a new track that I think you might enjoy.

Once again, I can’t thank everyone enough. All the support for my content has been amazing, and although I don’t like using “blessed” to describe how I feel, I do feel pretty damn blessed right now. I’ve been grinding my ass off to make something like this happen and it did. It’s a big step in the right direction, and I’m not exaggerating one bit when I say that I couldn’t be happier.
