It’s almost that time again. Two of the hottest brands in the world, Adidas and Palace have linked up for another season of collaborative goodness. The first images of their S/S 2016 collection hit the Internet earlier this week, and they couldn’t have come at a better time, with summer right around the corner, and a break in Adidas’s Yeezy releases. There’s a lot of fire pieces in the collection, but after careful deliberation we were able to narrow it down to our three favorites. Let’s stop talking and get right to the jawnz.
Honorable Mention: Beach Towel
We know, we know. We said we were only bringing you three pieces, but we had to show some love to this crazy giant beach towel. It appears to be made of terry, and looks very soft and luxe. If you’re planning on going to the beach this summer, you won’t find a more steezy towel anywhere. If not, you’ve got yourself a great collector’s item. Win-win in our book.
3. Shorts
You’ve got to have a go-to pair of shorts for the summer, and these fit the bill perfectly. A simple black and white colorway, the three stripes on the side for that iconic look, and a touch of Palace branding on the left leg so those who pay close attention will know you’re really about your jawnz. Best shorts we’ve seen in a while.
2. Polo
Summer’s all about being cool and cozy, and there’s no better way to look like an 80’s tennis star or a rich retiree than this dope-ass polo shirt. The small amount of color on the sleeves and upper chest are done tastefully, as is the Palace hit, and the zipper replaces your regular 3-button setup for a great athleisure touch.
1. Windbreaker
What else could be #1? A great teal colorway, Palace’s signature powerful, in-your-face giant branding, and Adidas’s classic three stripes all adorn this great light summer jacket. If you’re lucky to get your hands on one of these you’ll be rocking it many a summer evening, and well into the fall. Absolute flames.
