Last week Soundset took over the Twin Cities, bringing with it all kinds of artists and hip-hop aficionados including Sway Calloway, who was in town to host the event.
Sway has been known to do a live broadcast from Fifth Element when he’s in town, and this year was no exception. He hosted several interviews, and held another Minnesota mega cypher.
What makes this year’s cypher special though is KicksOneTwo homies GoodKarmaNiles, 1990, and RP Hooks of BLVCK SPVCE got their turns on the mic. Check the video below for all the flames that your speakers can handle (BLVCK SPVCE starts around the 8:30 mark).

It’s story time.
Yes, I’m taking it back to preschool and telling a story. It involves a Travel Channel show host and a dope brand out of New York City. It’s fairly short, and pretty funny, and without further ado, I’ll get right to it.

For today’s Kick Pic, we bring you a snap of Ross rocking the Jordan I “Chicago”, with a lace swap for good measure.
For this edition of Music Mondays, we bring you a track off of Ludacris‘s most recent album, “Ludaversal”. Here’s “Charge It To The Rap Game”.

It’s that time of year again.
Soundset, the annual Rhymesayers-hosted hip-hop festival boasting performances from the likes of J. Cole and Big Sean is this Sunday. As always, there’s a pre-party and an afterparty.
But the pre-party is a little different this year. KicksOneTwo homies BLVCK SPVCE will be performing at First Ave with several other artists.
We’ll let you know right now: If you’ve never been to a BLVCK SPVCE show before (or even if you have), this is one you can’t miss, as they’re guaranteed to tear the roof off the building. Check the flier below for more event info, and be sure to grab your tickets today.
