Over the weekend, Ross picked up a pair of the “Black Infared” VI’s. Although the quality isn’t quite grade A, it’s a classic sneaker, and when the chance to cop a shoe like this presents itself, you have to pull the trigger! Check the images below.
Everyone loves a good collaboration. It may be Kanye West and Jay-Z coming together for a dope album like Watch The Throne, or Jeff Staple and Shake Shack coming together for a delicious dessert, but whenever two or more influencers come together and collaborate, usually something dope comes out of it.
However, we’re not talking about rap albums or desserts today. We’re talking about shoe collaborations, and how they’ve flooded the market. It seems like every which way you turn there’s a new one dropping, be it a new Burn Rubber x New Balance, or something from Nike SB and pretty much any skateshop anywhere in the world.
Hey everyone. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and slept off all that turkey you ate.
I thought it was only right that I talked a little about everything I’m thankful for in the sneaker game, seeing as Christmas is right around the corner, and Thanksgiving was just yesterday. Counting your blessings during the holiday season is always important, and seeing as lots of folks like to bitch and moan about the sneaker game, I wanted to spend a little time on the good things.
First of all, I wanted to give a shoutout to everyone I’ve met doing this crazy sneaker thing. From Jahmade to Adam to Moh, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some really awesome people. I’ve always maintained the best thing about our culture is the lasting connections that you make with similar-minded people who love the same stuff that you do, and that still holds true.
For today’s Kick Pic, we bring you a snap of KicksOneTwo’s own Jahmade rocking the Nike SB Dunk Hi “Stars.
We’d also like to wish you a very happy Thanksgiving! From all of us here at KicksOneTwo to you, have a wonderful day!
With Black Friday only two days away, we’re oh-so-close to a plethora of dope sneaker releases. We thought it would be only right to bring you our top three sneaker releases for this Black Friday, and why exactly it is we like them so much. Without further ado, let’s get right into it!
3. The Hundreds x Reebok Pump AXT
When two brands of this stature link up, you know something good is bound to happen. The Hundreds and Reebok came together for two amazing colorways of the classic Pump AXT cross-trainer. Dubbed the “Coldwaters”, one shoe features a San Jose Sharks inspired black and blue colorway, while the other features a dark green and pink colorway inspired by coral, moss and other living sea organisms. They’ll be available for purchase from the Hundreds webstore, as well as their flagship stores.
For today’s Kick Pic, we bring you a snap of Ross rocking the “Triple Black” Air Max 95
As anyone who even has a passing interest in sneakers knows, the Jordan VI “Black Infared” will be released this upcoming Black Friday. Even though it’s been re-released a few times since its original release in 1991, it still creates somewhat of a frenzy whenever it drops. With this being hands down the biggest sneaker release of Black Friday, it’s only right that the quality of the shoe and what the community thinks about them is discussed here on KicksOneTwo.
Although the shoe does look great in pictures (in case you couldn’t tell from looking at the snap above), in person the quality is average at very best. The nubuck on the upper is very susceptible to scratches and scuffs, but the 3M hits are nicely done.
