It was a wonderful day, filled with sneakers, music, art, good food, good people, and excellent weather.
TCSAX 6 (the first ever outdoor TCSAX) went down behind Studiiyo23 yesterday, and it was one for the books. I’m proud to say that I’ve been to every single TCSAX (I’ve actually still got the shirt from the very first one), and this one just might have been the best one yet.
Why’s that, you might ask? It’s simple. The positive, upbeat, welcoming vibe that TCSAX has always been known for seemed to be even more prevalent than usual. Sure, packing the Cabooze is dope, and throwing an event in the Target Center is a big milestone for any business, but nothing beats shutting down a city street for the day to bring the community together.
The event was incredibly enjoyable all around. The excellent fall weather kept spirits high, vendors from Create Karma to Stack Duckets sold everything from kicks to art to vintage sportswear, food was readily available thanks to Red’s Savoy and local artists from Why Khaliq to Finding Novyon had a chance to rock the stage (there was even a freestyle session).
And that’s not to mention everyone that was there. There’s no better place than TCSAX to catch up with your friends in the sneaker community, meet people you might know from Facebook sneaker groups in person, and make new friends who have similar interests as you.
All this combined to make for an incredibly enjoyable afternoon. Any time the community can get together in one place, chill, talk shop, and network, it’s a win for everyone. Nobody puts on for the Minnesota sneaker community more than Studiiyo23, and I’m proud to be a member of the family.
Till next time! Can’t wait to see everyone at TCSAX 7. If TCSAX 6 was any indication, we’ll be in for yet another great time.
