A very special day is almost upon us.
This Thursday, two juggernauts, one of the skate/street industry, and one of the athletic footwear industry will come together as they have in the past for another collaboration. Hypebeasts will develop uncontrollable erections. Sneakerheads will start foaming at the mouth. Kids with their dad’s credit card will…well, they’ll just continue to spend their dad’s money.
That’s right, the next Supreme and Nike collaboration will be here on Thursday, the 21st of April..and it’s the Air Max 98, a model that occasionally gets lost in the vault of Nike’s classic kicks. We’re big fans though, and think this is one of Nike’s better collaborative efforts of the past few months.

Yes, it’s that time again. It’s been a little over a month since the last installment, and we’re here shamelessly plugging our Instagram once again. We’d like to think we’ve got enough heat on the page to start a damn wildfire, so you’re really doing yourself a disservice if you’re not following us.
Also, we’ve got a whole bunch of new and exciting stuff popping off on that end. First of all, as you may have already noticed, we changed up the watermark. We’re testing this new text-only jawn out, and may switch to another font or another graphic soon, but as of now we’re really digging the minimalistic look. Our logo is dope, but we don’t want to do anything to take attention away from the shoes in the pictures, so we thought we’d simplify it for you just a touch.

One of the best things the Internet has ever created is the crying Jordan face meme. Here’s the scoop for those of you who have been living under a rock: during his Hall of Fame acceptance speech, Michael Jordan grew emotional and began crying. Some genius took his face, and turned it into a masterpiece that has now covered anyone who’s failed at anything. It’s absolutely hilarious.
Last night marked the end of an era.
The Black Mamba himself, Mr. Kobe Bean Bryant played his last NBA game on Wednesday, and left in resounding fashion, scoring 60 points and helping the Lakers to a 101-96 win over the Utah Jazz.
He’s one of the greatest players of all time, and did a lot of incredible things during his 20-year career in the NBA. The only guard to ever play 20 seasons, his accolades range from championships to MVP awards to 81-point games. You know his history. You know what he did. You knew him for the killer instinct, the ferocity he attacked the rim with, the burning passion he displayed every time he set foot on the court.

This past Sunday, the Minnesota sneaker community converged upon the brand-new Mayo Clinic Square for the 7th installment of Studiiyo23‘s Twin Cities Sneaker Art Xchange. With lots of heat on feet and on the sneaker tables, dope goods and apparel, and plenty of music, it was an afternoon to be remembered. Here’s a few of our favorite shots of the crowd, tables, scenery, and musicians that made the afternoon so enjoyable.
