How are they going to do that, you might ask? Simple. For every product purchased on their website this summer, a beanie will be earmarked for donation. Instead of donating beanies in bulk to a third party and letting them handle the distribution, Create Karma is taking a more hands-on approach. With the support of Visionary MFG, Create Karma will be taking to the streets in major U.S. cities and distributing the beanies by hand to those in need.
And that’s not all. The image above? That’s actually the front of a postcard. Postcards like this will be given out to help spread the message of the charitable donation efforts, and encourage you to put your phone down (c’mon, we could all benefit from doing that more often) and write a handwritten, heartfelt letter. The back of the postcard even features a special discount code for the website.
It’s a win all around.
