New Year, New Jawns: Three 2017 Sneaker Resolutions

New year, new jawns.

We’ve got a fresh 12 months of new heat ahead of us. We know what some of the heat’s gonna be … and we don’t know what some of the heat’s gonna be. It’s gonna be a fun ride with plenty of new trends, new friends, and new jawns. What’s not to love?

Maybe you didn’t make a New Year’s resolution last night (we didn’t for the record). But maybe you still feel like it. If so, we’ve got one for you: try to be a better sneakerhead for the next twelve months. Wondering just how you can do that? We’ve got 3 tips for you right here.

1. Cop Selectively

We’re always preaching this, but cop selectively. There’s no need to go out and grab every release that initially catches your eye. That’s how you’ll wind up with a closet full of new jawns that you don’t really want to wear. Do your research, figure out what you really like, and cop selectively. Your sneaker experience will be much more fun that way.

2. Lend A Hand

Have a chance to throw an oop? Do it. Helping out a fellow sneakerhead is one of the great joys of the game, and you might just make yourself a lasting friend. Try getting your Chris Paul on so someone else can be a Blake Griffin. Trust us, it’s quite enjoyable.

3. Flex

Ok, ok. The third one isn’t quite as selfless as the second one … but you gotta flex every so often. If you’re copping selectively and getting those new jawns that you were really rocking with … show em off. Let everyone know how about this life you really are. We can’t blame you one bit, it’s one of our favorite things to do too.

So there you have it. Cop your new jawns selectively, lend a hand whenever possible, and flex every so often . Follow our advice, and your sneaker 2017 will be a great one. We guarantee it.
