The Air Max 97 Needs A Stateside Release ASAP

We’re going through withdraws.

Air Max withdraws to be specific. You see, we’re hankering for a pair of the “Silver Bullet” Air Max 97’s, even though they haven’t seen a widespread U.S. release yet (they were released as a quickstrike at Kith, but we can’t count that … nobody hits on those).

Why do we want a pair so bad, you may be asking? Fair question. Let us explain.

The Air Max 97 (especially the Silver Bullet colorway) is a classic. From roadmen to football fans to Air Max lovers, it’s a shoe that’s firmly established its place in history, and several would go as far as to call it one of the best Air Maxes of all time.

Just imagine the possibilities: first off, silver is great for summer. Secondly, imagine all the pants that would work with these jawns: slim denim. Tech fleece. Any wind/track pant (they’ll be making a big splash in 2017, just you watch). Shorts. The list goes on and on and on. A simply iconic shoe, and one that deserves a stateside release.

We’ll be waiting and watching with baited breath for these to drop stateside (if they ever do), because we’ll need one to rock and one to stock. A classic shoe like this doesn’t come around that often, and you need to pay your homage when it does.

Or maybe we’ll just go ahead and splurge on a pair on eBay. Gotta do what you gotta do sometimes, right?

What do you think of the Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet?” Would you say it’s one of the best Air Maxes ever? Hit us up and let us know in the comments or on Twitter, check our Facebook page for daily updates, and, as always, be sure to follow us on Instagram for all the fire sneaker pictures you can handle.
