It’s been a big week for sneakers this week. Between all the Easter releases yesterday and everything that’s coming out this weekend. there’s a lot to chose from. Thinking of copping a pair, or maybe two? So am I. Here’s my top 5 sneaker releases for this weekend.
5. Highs and Lows x Reebok Classic Leather “Autumn Leaves”
Reebok and Australian sneaker retailer Highs and Lows came together to design a dope shoe inspired by (you guessed it) leaves in autumn. Although autumn is a distant memory here in the states, this neutral brown, orange, black, and white sneaker is a winner in any season.
As it’s Thursday, we thought it would be only right to bring you a throwback pic. Here’s a snap of all the shoes in Midas’s Starting 5. If you didn’t see that when it dropped, you can check it out here.
If you’ve been browsing the sneaker webs within the last day or two, there’s a good chance you saw the article that Matt Welty wrote for Complex recently. It’s entitled “I Don’t Wear Air Jordans”, and it’s a good read (in the event you haven’t seen it yet, here’s a link).
Welty raises a few fair points in the article. Everyone does thirst over the same shoes, and it’s pretty nuts to drop $200 for a sneaker that calls itself a “remastered” model….even though the quality on the original shoe was significantly better.
For today’s Kick Pic, we bring you a shot of some 01′ “Royal” Jordan I’s chilling in the Treehouse at Studiiyo23.
For today’s edition of Music Mondays, we’ve got to bring you some more Action Bronson, as it’s pretty much all we’ve been listening to this week. Here’s “Only In America”.

If you know me at all, you know that I’m a huge Ronnie Fieg fan. The man is constantly innovating. He’s always true to the look that he’s created while still managing to remain on trend, and with his latest collection, he’s outdone himself once again.
Followers of Kith know that Ronnie has been in Tokyo the past few weeks, operating a pop-up shop and working on collaborations with the likes of John Elliot and Puma. For those who may have not seen what he’s been up to, the lookbook is available here. There’s also a video recap of the Kith crew’s escapades in Tokyo.
Today’s the big day. Pharrell and Adidas are dropping their collaborative Superstars….all 50 pairs of them. Yes, you read that right, 50 pairs. With what seems like every color imaginable dropping, there’s a color in the pack for everyone. Here’s a picture if you haven’t seen the full expanse of the collection.
Pretty much every color you could think of, plus a few that you didn’t see coming, right? That’s Skateboard P for you. This could prove to be an interesting collection in a lot of ways, both good and bad. Let’s look them over.
For today’s Kick Pic, we bring you a snap of Ross rocking the Jordan I “Royal” KO’s.
