For this edition of Music Mondays, it’s only right to bring you some Travi$ Scott after his insane performance at the Fine Line this last Saturday. Here’s “Mamacita”, featuring Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug.
This weekend, I was able to grab a pair of the Jordan I “Do The Right Thing” (or “Sea Green”, or “Metallic Green” depending on who you ask). They’re in pretty good shape, and for only $60, there was no reason to not pull the trigger! Check out a few snaps below.
Come in to the store, fill out a ticket with your name, phone number, and shoe size, and hope you get a call back a few days later saying you’ve won the right to purchase your highly coveted kicks.
Yeah, that’s how a sneaker raffle goes. If you’re into kicks (Jordans especially), you’ve probably participated in just a few of them over the years. Equal parts frustrating and rewarding, they’re a part of the shoe game whether you like them or not.
Some folks who might be newer to the game, or not really sure what’s going on, might not understand what you do and don’t do when it comes to a raffle though. There’s a sort of “raffle etiquette”, if you will. Not sure what this “raffle etiquette” consists of? Read on. I’ll be more than happy to fill you in, and also let you know the steps to raffling if it isn’t something you’ve done before. And don’t worry: it’s not terribly complicated.read more
No matter how much sneaker money you’ve set aside or how often you’re checking the release calendar, there’s just too much going on to keep up with every release.
I’ve touched on the oversaturation of certain sneaker collections and how to be more selective with your sneaker purchases in previous articles, but I felt that it was only right to write a piece on how there are just too many releases nowadays. The market has never been more saturated.read more
Got plans tomorrow night? If you don’t, great. If you do, you might want to cancel them because Foolish Bastard Family is back at the Kitty Kat Klub for their monthly residence. With performances from DJ BVCKWOODS, soslylove, BitsBits, and Finding Novyon, it’s not a show to be missed. And for only $3, you can afford it too. We’ll see you there tomorrow night!
After what feels like a long hiatus (even though it was just a few months), Supreme is back with their latest offering, the Spring/Summer 2015 collection. In classic Supreme fashion, there’s plenty of collabs, random yet tasteful accessories, and a wide variety of garments, from soccer goalie jerseys to a faux-fur coat. If you haven’t seen the lookbook yet, it’s available on Supreme’s home page as well as Hypebeast.
As a whole, I think Supreme did a very solid job with this collection. There are a few really solid graphic t-shirts (my two favorites are the “You’re not living until you’re living for Supreme” and the “Fuck You We Do What We Want” tees), the hoodies seem to be on point (if not somewhat safe), and on the headwear front there are a plethora of dope camp caps, snapbacks, beanies, bucket hats and the usual one fitted to chose from as well.read more
For today’s Kick Pic, we’re continuing this week’s trend of Jordan Future pictures. Here’s a snap of K12’s own Jahmade rocking the “Infrared” Jordan Future Premium. Look at that 3M!
This past Thursday, it happened. The Kanye West and Adidas fashion show (official title: Adidas Presents: Yeezy Season 1) finally went down, and even with all the hype leading up to it, it didn’t disappoint.
Now that the groundbreaking show is more than 24 hours old, I think it’s a little easier to look back on it with an objective point of view. It’s occasionally difficult to look at something with an unbiased point of view in the heat of the moment, as anyone can get caught up in the hype when it reaches certain levels.read more
