Hip-hop fans the world over know: the Soundest festival is the shit. Year after year, they provide a great lineup and memorable experiences aplenty. And every year when the lineup is released, the debate begins. Is the lineup great? Is it top-heavy? Is the mix of artists right? Is this lineup the best one yet?

Tonight at the Amsterdam Bar & Hall, Why Khaliq and the FREEliving crew are celebrating the release of his new Under The Perspective Tree (or UTPT for short) EP with a BANGER of a show.

Besides Khaliq playing all the joints from UTPT for the first time, you’ll also be treated to sets from Greg Grease, Tomorrow Genius, Lexii Aliijai and CamOnClouds. Tickets are only $7 advance (click here to cop) or $10 at the door. Doors are at 9PM. See you there!

Yesterday the homie Why Khaliq dropped his much-anticipated “Under The Perspective Tree” (or UTPT for short) EP. With the project garnering attention from national blogs like Pigeons and Planes, and Khaliq’s signature thoughtful and technical raps, it’s not something you want to miss.

And that’s not even all. UTPT also boasts features from CamOnClouds and Lisa Lonewolf, as well as production from Lelan Foley.
