Welcome to Music Mondays! Every Monday we’ll bring you a sick track to get your week started off right.
For our first installment, we bring you a track from Brooklyn Park’s own ThatGuySoda‘s mixtape Legendary. Here’s “Double R” featuring Dizzy Wright.

It was a successful weekend for the KicksOneTwo staff in terms of new pickups. I was able to grab a pair of the Jordan Futures in the “Volt” colorway, while Jahmade was able to grab the camo colorway (pics of those coming soon!)
If you’re looking to get your hands on a pair, the good folks over at Studiiyo23 still have a few in stock!
I think the Future will be a great summer sneaker due to its lightweight upper and vibrant colors. Without further ado, here’s a few snaps! Enjoy.
There’s no dictionary definition for “sneakerhead”. You could ask ten different people what they thought, and you’d very likely get ten different answers. There are lots of different types of folks with different levels of interest in shoes, so how do you determine who’s a “sneakerhead” and who isn’t? Here’s my two cents on the topic.
In my opinion, the main requirement is that you have to have a certain level of knowledge on the topic. Anyone can use their money to buy a bunch of sneakers, but what sets someone who’s a real head apart from someone who just owns a lot of shoes is what they know. It’s like the difference between a person who owns a nice camera and an actual photographer. There’s a level of knowledge that’s required. If you can speak intellegently on sneaker history, the sneaker culture currently, and where you think the culture is going in the future, that means you’re more invested in the culture as a whole as opposed to someone who just mindlessly consumes.
Welcome to the first post of a new segment we’re excited to bring to you: the Starting Five.
The idea behind the Starting Five is to showcase the five sneakers that are in someone’s rotation, and give them a chance to explain why they’ve been rocking said sneakers so much.
I thought I’d get everything started, so here are the five kicks that are currently in my rotation!
1. Nike Flyknit Trainer: Flyknit has become my favorite Nike technology. These are a great summer shoe, very lightweight and comfy. The all-over multicolor Flyknit upper really works with any type of fit.
Although this article is similar in nature to the valuable sneakers piece that was put on the site on Sunday, I still thought it was a topic worth touching on.
Sometimes it’s hard being so attracted to material things. A lot of people don’t understand it. “You have how many sneakers?” they say. “You spent how much on that pair of sneakers?” they say. “You know they’re just sneakers, right?” they say. Usually someone like that is easy to ignore, but sometimes it can get bothersome.
Adam Westermann has a lot of sneakers. So many, in fact, that we had to write two posts. Our first visit to Adam’s storage locker, if you missed it, is here. Now here are the rest of the pictures from Adam’s locker (assorted Nikes, New Balance, Asics, Jordans, and a pair of Adidas too). Enjoy!
Huge thanks to Adam for letting us come out and shoot all the dope kicks in his locker! Checking out a diverse collection is always a good time.
Last week, Ronnie Fieg tweeted out a link to a new Gel Lite V colorway that had dropped on the Kith website. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pair, and they arrived today. They’re crazy in person, so I had to throw in the rope laces that were included and take a few snaps. Enjoy!
