Maybe you’re new to it. Maybe you’ve been playing it for a while. Maybe it’s been playing you (it has a tendency to do that sometimes).
Yes, we’re talking about the sneaker game. The never-ending game that we’re all a part of, to various levels. Buying, selling, and trading. The cycle goes on and on. But the sneaker game is about more than just sneakers sometimes.
“Why’s that?” you might be saying. “What else is a part of the sneaker game besides shoes?” There’s actually quite a lot. So many other things tie in to the game. If you like sneakers, there’s a chance you like hip-hop, streetwear, and almost any other form of “urban culture”, if you will. You’ll get that in spades. One of the great things about the sneaker subculture is that it ties in to many other subcultures as well.

You’ve got a pretty nice collection. You’ve been in the game for a few years, and have a little bit of everything you wanted. From rare collabs to quickstrikes, you feel like you’ve got all the bases covered. But do you have any shoes that you can wear on a daily basis?
It’s extremely important to be sure that you have wearable shoes in your collection. Sure, you might have a crazy limited collab or a dope PE, but is that something that you can throw on any given day of the week? If not, you need to grab a few pairs to keep in rotation.
January 1st. New year, new possibilities, new days to cop new kicks. We’re in for a great year of sneakers, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Every year, there’s a few shoes that really stand out to you, weather they were your favorite pickups or kicks you get a lot of wear out of, and we thought we’d share the shoes that stood out to us. Bobby’s showing his three favorite pickups of the year (shoes that he picked up in the past 12 months, not just shoes that released in the past 12 months, and I’m showing off the three shoes that I got the most wear out of. Let’s go.
The final countdown is in effect.
We’re less than 24 hours away from the start of 2016, and it’s only right that we look back upon the best releases of 2015. It was a year of high peaks and low valleys for the sneaker game, but this year’s best releases can stack up with any other year’s in terms of pure, unadulterated fire. Although breaking down all our favorite releases (the list was about 40 shoes long before we started chopping it up) into only ten was a challenge, after careful deliberation we managed to pick the cream of the crop, and we’ve got them right here for you.
2015 isn’t ending quietly. KicksOneTwo homie GoodKarmaNiles just dropped the first track off of his upcoming “SPVCESHIP” EP, and it’s a banger. Produced by 1990 (another KicksOneTwo homie), it’s a song that’s sure to find its way into rotation in the whip. Check it out below!

We’re here. It’s late december, and we’ve finally almost made it through 2015.
Now that the year’s over, we can take a look back at the sneaker industry and the game as a whole, both the good and the bad. Like most other years, there were ups and downs across the industry, but there was one brand that tossed an uncharacteristically large amount of bricks over the last twelve months: Jordan.
Now don’t get us wrong here: we love Jordan Brand. Hell, how could you not? They’re responsible for a large number of the best sneakers of all time. But that doesn’t mean they’re immune to releasing some garbage every so often. What went wrong this year? We’ll break it down for you. Without further ado, here’s why 2015 wasn’t Jordan Brand’s greatest year.
For the last edition of Music Mondays in 2015 (can you believe it?), we bring you a banger from Keith Ape. Here’s “Ksubi”, featuring Ken Rebel.

You’re probably confused right now.
“The “What The Fieg” Gel Lyte III’s aren’t a must-have? But…but Ross just told me yesterday they were!! I just went out and dropped a rack on them because he convinced me I needed them!”
Granted, Ross did make a great argument as to why you need to own a pair of “What The Fieg’s”, but I disagree with him. You may have started the website, Ross, but you can’t tell me what I do and don’t like!!

Merry Kithmas.
Yes, Christmas was yesterday, and yes, that was a terrible joke..but it was one that needed to be made. When you’re as big of a Kith stan as everyone at KicksOneTwo is, it really was Kithmas earlier this month when the gawd himself, Ronnie Fieg, announced that he’d be releasing a “What The Fieg” Gel Lyte III that paid homage to the 16 models of the shoe he’d done before, from the “Kith Football Equipment” to the “Salmon Toe”.
