3 Quick Ways To Add Flavor To Your Kicks

Sometimes leaving your kicks the way they came just doesn’t cut it. Sure, they’re dope, but you just don’t feel like they’re as unique as they should be. Your personality is one-of-a-kind, and your kicks should reflect that too.

Fear not. We’re here to help with 3 quick ways you can add flavor to your kicks. Let’s get right to it.

1. Lace Swaps

A fire lace swap has been the #1  way to make your kicks look unique ever since b-boys were throwing different color fat laces in their Pumas. You’ve got a plethora of options from sites like Rope Lace Supply, Mr. Lacy, and Lace Lab, so you can find a style or color of lace to fit literally any shoe. You’ll feel like a whole new person when you throw some crazy laces in your kicks.

2. Pins

Pins aren’t just for your jacket or your hat. You can throw them on your shoes too for a little extra pop of steez. Put em’ on the laces. Put em’ in a lace hole you’re not using. You’ve got lots of different ways to add your own sauce with pins, and brands like Pintrill will make sure you’ve always got plenty of designs available.

3. Socks

Your socks aren’t your shoes (obviously), but picking the right sock can make your shoe look a lot different (and way more dope). Stance has so many sock designs that you’re practically guaranteed to find something that’ll be fly with your kicks, and the sooner you throw away your crusty white socks and replace them with a fresh patterned or striped pair, the happier you’ll be.

  1. To add some flavor to my kicks I usually sprinkle on a little lawrys seasoning salt sometimes if I’m feeling bold I’ll put a dry rub on my shoes before I throw em in the oven really makes the flavor pop
