So you’re going on a vacation. You’ve got a dope destination picked out, you’ve got a list of things to do when you get there, and you’re almost done packing, but you’ve got one more thing that you need to figure out, and it’s important: What kicks should you bring?

Since you’ve got limited space in your luggage (unless you don’t mind paying outrageous baggage fees), you’ve got to make the most of the kicks you bring. They’ve gotta be lightweight. They’ve gotta be comfy. They’ve gotta be packable. Yeah, they’ve gotta be a lot of different things. Thankfully we know a few pairs that work great for any trip, and we’re more than happy to share them with you. Without further ado, here are the 3 best kicks for traveling.

Nike Flyknit Racer

The picture at the top of the article probably gave it away, but if it didn’t, now you know: the Nike Flyknit Racer is arguably our favorite travel shoe. It’s lightweight. It works well with pants or shorts. It’s easy to slip off at security (very important). They also take up an extremely small amount of space in your bag (you can probably even fit them in your backpack or purse). All those factors combine to make the Flyknit Racer a home run for any traveler.

Adidas Ultra Boost

Ah, the Adidas Ultra Boost. The shoe of the moment, and probably the most comfortable pair you’ll ever put on. They’re not quite as minimal as the Flyknit Racers, but they’re still very low-profile, and they’ll keep you extra-comfy after a long and stressful day of travel. Plus, you can channel your inner Kanye wherever you go. What’s not to like about that?

Vans Authentics

We couldn’t just bring you the latest and greatest high-tech kicks for travel…we had to show love to the classics too, and no classic shoe is better for travel than the Vans Authentic (sidenote: if the sight of white Vans makes you feel the need to let out a “DAMMMMMMNNNN DANIEL”, go ahead and do it. We won’t judge). It’s one of the easiest shoes to pack that you can find, and comes in a mirad of simple yet effective colorways so you can rock it with whatever fits you bring along with you. If you want to go old-school with the kicks on your trip, this is the way to go.

So there you have it. The three best kicks for traveling. Now you’ll be properly equipped (and extra steezy) for your next vacation. Just don’t forget who put you on game when you’re chilling oceanside. We’ve got you covered fam.
