Jordan XV: The Worst Air Jordan Ever

Any signature sneaker line is bound to have its ups and downs, especially when they’ve been around as long as the Air Jordan. Over 31 signature models, the Air Jordan has experienced great highs and terrible lows … and the most terrible of those lows is definitely the Air Jordan XV.

Lots of Jordans have been inspired by flight, and like one of the best Jordans ever, the Jordan V, the XV was inspired by a plane (the X-15 jet), but that’s about the only similarity. These are horrible. Just look at them, for god’s sake. If they were a video game, they’d be Trash Bandicoot. If they were a breakfast food, they’d be trash browns. If they were a track and field event, they’d be the 100-yard trash. Yes, they’re that bad.

The wide tongue (what does that remind you of? Yeah, that’s what we thought) goes horribly with the woven upper, and the big plastic midfoot shank and ribbed heel are pretty awful too, if we do say so ourselves. If you have nostalgic memories of these from your childhood, we’re sorry. Growing up on the worst signature Jordan ever has to be rough.

Will they sell when they drop on the 7th? We don’t think so. Nostalgia is not strong for these bad boys, and the new generation of sneakerheads probably won’t be looking to cop either. Oh well, at least Jordan Brand can only go up from the XV’s in 2017.

What do you think of the Jordan XV’s? Do you think they’re trash too or do you like them for some reason? Hit us up and let us know on Twitter, check our Facebook page for daily updates, and, as always, be sure to follow us on Instagram for all the fire sneaker pictures you can handle.
