It’s interesting to see what goes on day-to-day at a famous sneaker shop, and the first episode of the second season focuses on the Burn Rubber boys working with members of the University of Michigan’s Fab 5 freshmen. Didn’t see the Release Calendar Yesterday? Here’s Why.

Here at KicksOneTwo, we feel it’s important to keep you up to day on the latest goings-on in our local sneaker community. The team decided last week that the best way to inform our readers about what’s going on would be to tweak the calendar, and make it more focused on what’s going on locally. It might take a week or two for us to optimize this, and it might be a work in progress, but it will be better! We ask for your patience as we try to improve the calendar and make it the best it can be. read more

This is notable for two reasons: First….They admitted it! They knew they were making low-quality product and it wasn’t up to snuff. Secondly, with this supposed “increase in quality” comes a price increase of about 10-15%, according to Dave Schecter, the VP of footwear for Jordan. read more
