You might think you have the plug.
You might have someone who gets you kicks, and can help you cook on limited releases, but we’re sure of one thing: you don’t have the plug like the man, the myth, the legend, the Nature Boy himself Mr. Ric Flair does.
The above photo was posted by Ric himself on Twitter yesterday, after he supposedly received all the 350’s from Kanye and adidas themselves. We’d like to mention that nobody knows for sure if Kanye himself actually had anything to do with Ric receiving the shoes … but for the sake of a great story, we’d like to think that he did.
Ric went on to mention that the 350 Boost “Zebra” was his favorite pair that he received as they “reminded him of his Gators”, and he made sure to throw in a healthy “WOOOOO” for humor’s sake.
The sneaker game can get altogether too serious at times, so it’s nice to get some funny news like this every so often to keep things light-hearted. Sneakers are supposed to be fun, after all … and Ric’s clearly having a lot of fun with his Yeezys.
Shouts to whoever at adidas hooked him up … you provided us with a damn good laugh yesterday, and we appreciate it. Keep the fire releases coming and keep seeding the right people (like the Nature Boy) with shoes, and the top spot in the game is yours for the keeping.
