BLVCK SPVCE Takes Over 7th Street Entry Next Week

It’s going down on the 17th.

The waviest rap group in all of Minnesota, BLVCK SPVCE will be performing at 7th Street Entry next Thursday, and they’re bringing Ripp Flamez (all the way from Cleveland), Gym and OG Newport, DJ Kam Bennett, DJ Low, and DJ BVCKWOODS along with them…and on top of that the show is presented by Create Karma and is only $7 if you buy your tickets in advance.

The Great Holiday Release Date Switch Up

If you were anywhere near social media or any form of sneaker news within the last 48 hours, you’ve heard the news, first as a rumor and then officially. Jordan Brand has switched the release dates for the “72-10” XI’s from the 19th to the 12th and the “Chrome” VIII’s from the 26th to the 19th, sending sneakerheads all over the world into a frenzy.

This comes as a surprise to most. Jordan Brand isn’t the type of company to switch release dates up last minute, especially not with one of their most anticipated releases of the year. Why’d they do this, and what might come of it? Let’s dig a little deeper and try to find out. read more

2015 NBA Christmas Uniforms

Christmas is right around the corner, and we’re all excited as ever for the upcoming holiday.

For those of you that are fans of the NBA (I’m assuming the majority of you are), you’re probably looking forward to the solid slate of Christmas Day games to be played. Release Thoughts: Balmain x H&M

Let me start this off by saying I just don’t get this “high fashion” crap. I really don’t. And I struggle with this a little bit because there are people that actually go out in this stuff everyday. Now, I’m not one to knock anyone’s style, (this is partially a lie), but some of this stuff is just flat out ugly. Sure, it’s all cool for fashion shows and what-not but as far as normal use goes — NAH. *Chief Keef voice*

WAX’s First Lineup Has Been Unveiled

Over the past few weeks, you’ve probably been wondering exactly what the deal with WAX is. The tweets, videos, and posts on it were somewhat cryptic..and that was by design. However, the wait to find out what exactly’s going on is over.

Last night, we dropped the announcement video you see above. The show will be the first in our monthly series of shows at the Kitty Cat Klub (did you catch that in the last video?), and Su Na will be headlining (yes, that was one of his tracks in the background of the skate video as well. Even more hidden symbolism). We’re also bringing our Left Life family out (that’s johndaniel, Widikus, Mikael X, and Akru The Zulu to be specific), and our resident DJs Connye and BVCKWOODS will be spinning as well. read more
