Lunarlon and Boost.
If you’re well-versed in running shoes, they’re the two types of foam cushioning that come to mind when you’re in the market for a soft-feeling and comfortable sneaker. But which one is better? Is it the long-standing Nike staple or the new Adidas challenger? We’ll compare them and decide on a winner right here and now. Tie up your comfiest pair, because we’re going to go ahead and get right to it.
First, we’ll start by seeing what each company has to say about their signature brand of foam.
There’s a good chance you’ve heard of Brad Hall…and if you haven’t, get ready to laugh.
Hall (if that’s even his real name) makes hilarious “sneaker review” videos on YouTube, poking fun at everything from sneaker unboxings to the way sneakerheads walk, and his latest video just might be his best.
Hall reviews the “Hare” Jordan VII’s, and well…you should just see for yourself.
If you enjoyed that as much as we did, you can check out the rest of Hall’s videos right here.
Your homies. Your crew. The squad. The team. Gang gang gang. Whatever term you use to describe them, I’m talking about your friends.
If you’re lucky enough to have a close-knit group of friends, there’s a good chance that you’re probably into at least a few of the same things, and if you’re reading this article there’s a pretty good chance that you (and by association your friends) are into sneakers. So what am I getting at here, you ask? I’m here to tell you about the joy of helping your friends get sneakers. Sure, you want to get whatever new release you have your eyes on, but if one of the homies wants it too, throw them an oop every once in a while.
For today’s Kick Pic, we bring you a black and white snap of Ross rocking the “Melo” Jordan I’s.
Finessing the plug. A topic as old as time itself. Maybe you’ve got a way with words, or maybe you’re just a sneaky bastard. Whatever it may be, you’ve likely finessed the plug at least once or twice in your life.
While finessing the plug is somewhat normal when you’re in the market for a quarter or a half, it’s not something that you should be doing when you’re in the market for the newest Jordan I or whatever Adidas Kanye had on his feet last week (oh you hypebeast, you).
Happy June! For this edition of Music Mondays, we bring you a classic Theophilus London and A$AP Rocky track. Here’s “Big Spender”.

If you were in the market for a pair of “Chicago” Jordan I’s this weekend, you already know how it went. Everyone from your friends to your neighbor’s mother to your 7th grade math teacher were in the market for a pair. The promise of remastered quality on a classic sneaker was hard for even the most casual sneakerhead to ignore.
The hype was so real that Nike even canceled the online release (along with the release of the “Pinnacle” I’s) to ensure that they weren’t all snapped up by bots. Sizes were very limited in Minnesota, and those lucky folks with winning raffle tickets must have felt like they were holding a Golden Ticket for Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory.
